Solanum Tuberosum Desiree Seed Potato
Desiree has been a firm favourite with gardeners for many years. The oval, red-skinned tubers with light yellow flesh are perfect for boiling, frying, mashing, and crispy roast potatoes.
This heavy-cropping variety has high resistance to drought and good resistance to potato virus and powdery scab.
Desiree stores well and has a good texture and flavour.
Maincrop seed potatoes mature 124-140 days from planting. Late April plants will be ready by mid-August.
