Leucojum aestivum is a deciduous bulbs. Once the plant has completed its flowering cycle and the foliage dies back the plant puts all its energy in to creating the next generations flowers.
Commonly known as Summer Snowflake the flowers resemble large snowdrops, the plants with long narrow leaves and up to 8 bell shaped green tipped white flowers on a leafless stem bloom in Spring.
Perfect for landscaping in woodland settings in and around trees, grass areas and semi to full shaded areas of the garden.
